When will my monthly Bandbox ship?
In-stock albums typically ship by the 7th of each month. However, we always try to send our shipments sooner than that - it just depends on album and zine inventory.
Pre-orders ship at various times of the month. We offer a projected month that the exclusives will go out but the specific day or week is contingent on when we receive the albums from the pressing plant. You will always receive a tracking number when your order ships but we do ask for your patience when it comes to knowing our exclusives exact ship date. Once your order ships, USPS media mail is typically up to seven business days transit time domestically and up to 14 business days internationally.

When will my Bandbox membership renew?
Bandbox memberships renew once per month on the 1st of the month. We highly encourage members to choose their album well before the end of the month, though!
What if I receive an album that's damaged or that I'm not interested in?
We offer free exchanges to all active members! If you would like to receive a different record or new copy of the LP you ordered, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your updated selection and we'll send you a free shipping label to return the offending album.
I only want to receive an exclusive that's shipping in a few months. Do I need to start a membership to order it?
If you'd like to get the exclusive at the member price (20% off), you will need to become a member with us and select the album or you can just make a one-time purchase at full price.
Can I select my album every month?
Yes you can. After you login to the member portal, choose "Swap This Album" and select the in-stock album of your choosing. Please make sure this is complete by the last day of the month!
Do I have to pick an album every month?
Nope! If your account renews for the month, you have until the last day of the following month to update and customize your Bandbox. If you don't do that, you'll receive the album that has been auto-selected for you that we hope you'll enjoy!
How does the monthly album auto-selection work?
After your membership is renewed on the 1st of the month and the order has processed for your album, an auto-selection process is ran to queue you up a new album for the following month. This process will check against your order history to ensure you don't receive a duplicate. After the process occurs, you are free to login back into your account and swap this album for something else if you'd prefer a different title. Just make sure this happens before the last day of them month!
What if I want more than one album per month?
If you'd like to receive multiple albums per month, email email@example.com with your additional album selection(s) and we'll apply them to your order. With the new member portal, we will soon have a way for you to add an extra album to that month's shipment (at 20% off) as well -- this offering will be available soon!
Can I have more than one membership at a time?
Yes. If you purchase multiple memberships (under separate membership IDs) you technically have more than one membership. To manage each membership individually, click the arrow next to your membership ID number and a dropdown menu will display showing any of your active or inactive memberships. You can select the membership ID you'd like to edit and manage that membership accordingly.
Can I pre-select multiple albums and have them queue up for future months?
Unfortunately, due to how our membership management system works, you are unable to pre-select albums for future months. You can only choose the album that will charge the following month.
Can I skip a month of my membership?
Yes, as a member you can skip one month at a time. Next to the "Next Payment" section, click "Edit" and skip the next charge.
How do I cancel or pause my membership?
To cancel your membership, please click the "Edit" button next to the "Term" section of the membership page and cancel. You also have the option to take a 2 month break instead of cancelling.
What’s in a Bandbox?
Every Bandbox includes the album of your choice (from over 50 options) and an issue of our full-color 16-page zine, centered around your selected artist! Also, be ready for some occasional additional items thrown into your box!
What’s a zine?
The Bandbox artist zine is what makes the Bandbox experience extra unique and exclusive. This is a booklet (included with every exclusive color pressing) we put together with the featured artist and typically includes a track by track review of the album (from the artist's perspective), essays, lists, features, rare photos and more!
How much does a Bandbox membership cost?
With a Bandbox membership, you receive a 20% on any albums offered in our exclusive catalog. Every month your membership is active, you'll receive a brand new Bandbox (LP + zine)! You may also purchase all our albums via a one-time purchase at full price.
*PLEASE NOTE: If you purchase a membership at a discounted price, you have created a recurring charge and will be charged again on the 1st of the month for your next box! Signing up on or before the 19th of the month will mean you'll renew on the 1st of the following month. If you purchased a membership by mistake, shoot us an email and we will charge you the extra dollar amount for the one-time purchase and cancel your membership.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free inside the United States for members only! That includes Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories like Guam and Puerto Rico. Non members will be charged on a sliding scale, starting at $5.
Do you ship internationally?
We sure do! International shipping costs start at $20 per shipment and will increase based on your location and how many LPs you are purchasing. If you don't see your country available at checkout, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll do our best to add it. If you order more than one album, shipping will cost is determined by weight of package.
