What’s in a Bandbox?

Every Bandbox includes the album of your choice (from over 50 options) and an issue of our full-color 16-page zine, centered around your selected artist! Also, be ready for some occasional additional items thrown into your box!

How much does a Bandbox subscription cost?

With a Bandbox subscription, you receive a 20% on any albums offered in our catalog. Every month your subscription is active, you'll receive a brand new Bandbox! You may also purchase all our albums via a one-time purchase at full price. 

*PLEASE NOTE: If you purchase a subscription at a discounted price, you have created a recurring charge and will be charged again on the 28th of the month for your next box! Signing up on or before the 18th of the month will mean you'll renew on the 28th of that same month. If you purchased a subscription by mistake, shoot us an email and we will charge you the extra dollar amount for the one-time purchase and cancel your subscription.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free inside the United States! That includes Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories like Guam and Puerto Rico.

Do you ship internationally?

We sure do! International shipping costs start at $20 per shipment and will increase based on your location and how many LPs you are purchasing. If you don't see your country available at checkout, email us at talk@bandboxrocks.com and we'll do our best to add it. If you order more than one album, shipping will cost is determined by weight of package. 

When will my monthly Bandbox ship?

Your box will ship by the 7th of each month (e.g. September 7 for September). However, we always try to send our shipments sooner than that - it just depends on inventory.

Please note: If an exclusive pressing is due to ship in a given month, it may ship after the 7th. Every time we send you a record, you'll receive an email with tracking information. Once your order ships, USPS media mail is typically up to seven business days transit time domestically and up to 14 business days internationally.

When do Bandbox exclusives colored pressings ship?

Our Bandbox exclusives ship at various times of the month. We offer a projected month that the exclusives will go out but the specific day or week is contingent on when we receive the albums from the pressing plant. You will always receive a tracking number when your order ships but we do ask for your patience when it comes to knowing our exclusives exact ship date. Once your order ships, USPS media mail is typically up to seven business days transit time domestically and up to 14 business days internationally.

When will my subscription renew?

Bandbox subscriptions renew once per month at 11:59PM EST on the 27th (after the initial subscription is made). We highly encourage members to choose their album well before the 27th, though!

What if I receive an album that's damaged or that I'm not interested in?

We offer free exchanges to all active subscribers! If you would like to receive a different record or new copy of the LP you ordered, email us at talk@bandboxrocks.com with your updated selection and we'll send you a free shipping label to return the offending album.

I only want to receive an exclusive that's shipping in a few months. Do I need to start a subscription to order it?

If you'd like to get the exclusive at the member price (20% off), you will need to subscribe with us or you can just make a one-time purchase at full price. 

Can I select my album every month?

Yes you can, see video below! You must select your album by 11:59 pm on the 27th of every month or Bandbox will curate an album for you.

Do I have to pick an album every month?

Nope! If your account renews for the month, you have until 11:59 pm on the 27th of the corresponding month to update to customize your Bandbox. If you don't do that, we'll send you a curated album and zine that are based on what you've chosen/received in past months.

I want you to curate my box each month, but how do I make sure you don't send me an album I already own?

If you message us on Discogs at bandboxvinyl, we'll add you to our friends list and will make sure to never send you something in your collection! Alternatively, you can email us at talk@bandboxrocks.com to let us know what titles to never send you.

What if I want more than one album per month?

If you'd like to receive multiple albums per month, you can either start an additional subscription for each LP via the member portal, purchase a one-time album or email talk@bandboxrocks.com with your additional album selection(s) and we'll apply them to your order.

Can I skip a month of my subscription?

Yes, as a member you can skip one month at a time. See video below on how to do so!

How do I cancel or pause my subscription?

To cancel your membership, please see video below. We'd love to keep you, though, and we'd always prefer that you reach out to us first before you cancel!
